John Lovell is a best-selling author, firearms instructor, public speaker, and he is the lead pastor of Grace City Rome church. John has a large following on YouTube and on Social Media where he spreads a message in favor of strong and virtuous masculinity. Today he is a video content creator, public speaker, firearms instructor, and homesteader. John lives on a small farm in Georgia with his wife and two sons.

Warrior Poet Society

In 2016, John Lovell founded the Warrior Poet Society — a values-based community dedicated to physical protection, the pursuit of truth, and living for higher purpose. His message has garnered over 1/2 a billion views across social media and streaming platforms. John also created the Warrior Poet Society Network (WPSN), a streaming service with shows, online firearm training content, and the John Lovell Show.

Background

John Lovell is a 5 time combat veteran and Special Operations soldier, having served in 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Not just a warrior though, John has served as a Christian missionary to Central America for four years. He serves today as the lead pastor of a church in Rome, GA.

John has written books, started businesses, spoken to huge crowds, and traveled the world. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. John is the husband of Rebekah Lovell, author of Boyhood Resurrected. John and Rebekah have been married 19 years and live on a farm in GA with their two sons.

In 2023, John Lovell answered the call to plant a church in Rome, GA. What began with only Pastor John and his family in a downtown park, quickly grew to a congregation of hundreds. If you ever visit Grace City Rome you will likely notice a congregation of authentic, bold, and loving people who are devoted to Jesus, speaking truth, worshiping, and doing life with each other. You will also notice the raw and masculine feel of the church.
